Krav Maga Basic Miscellaneous Weapon Defense:, Sunday, March 11th, West Loop 11:30am to 1:30pm (check in at 11:15pm)
This workshop will provide an overview of Krav Maga’s foundations as they apply to weapon attacks. Although this workshop is not intended to emphasize the conditioning elements integral to a Krav Maga training program, we wil review basic combatives that are essential when dealing with an attacker that has a weapon. Since the addition of a weapon clearly increases the overall threat significantly we will focus on 3 basic set ups: baseball bat swing, overhead knife attack and gun form the front. Even with 2 hours, it is an ambitious goal to cover these 3 weapons attacks. It os ideal to wear long pants, a long sleeve t-shirt, and it is highly recommended that if you own gear like a cup that you wear it. Wraps will be required. If you do not own these items you may purchase your own from our Proshop. We will loan out gloves, if necessary to the training. This program is at the POW West Loop. 8 person minimum required.
